Spreading the Word
Because of the work of the Trust and its supporters, Pomona and Rona islands are now a valuable national resource. The islands are easily accessible and we encourage people to visit these islands and to experience the restoration of the islands for themselves.
Going to the islands is a great experience but we do ask everyone who visits to help us keep Pomona and Rona fee of introduced animals and plant pests.
Please make sure that you have no rats or mice on your boat or in any bags or rucksacks that you want to take on the islands. Also please check your boots, gaiters and clothing for seeds.
